I experienced the same issue with SQL Search 3.5.3 after upgrading from an earlier version of SSMS to 18.9.1. To resolve, I uninstalled SQL Search, deleted the "C:\Program Files (x86)\Red Gate" folder and installed SQL Search again. / comments
