Hi @RoseannaW. I'm in the same situation as @TheSQLGuru. My licenses expired on Jan 1, 2020. Could I get an extension until the program renews and see if I make it? Thanks for any help. / comments

Hi. I just installed SSMS 18 side by side with 17. After the update of SQL Prompt to 9.5.1 (popped up on first launch of SSMS after computer reboot) I'm getting an error window pointing to the ActivityLog.xml where I found:

    <record>251</record>
    2019/05/02 14:58:22.433
    <type>Information</type>
    VisualStudio

Begin package load [SQLPromptSsmsPackage2018]

    <record>252</record>
    2019/05/02 14:58:22.438
    <type>Error</type>
    VisualStudio

CreateInstance failed for package [SQLPromptSsmsPackage2018]Source: 'mscorlib' Description: String cannot have zero length.
System.ArgumentException: String cannot have zero length.
at System.Reflection.RuntimeAssembly._nLoad(AssemblyName fileName, String codeBase, Evidence assemblySecurity, RuntimeAssembly locationHint, StackCrawlMark& stackMark, IntPtr pPrivHostBinder, Boolean throwOnFileNotFound, Boolean forIntrospection, Boolean suppressSecurityChecks)
at System.Reflection.RuntimeAssembly.nLoad(AssemblyName fileName, String codeBase, Evidence assemblySecurity, RuntimeAssembly locationHint, StackCrawlMark& stackMark, IntPtr pPrivHostBinder, Boolean throwOnFileNotFound, Boolean forIntrospection, Boolean suppressSecurityChecks)
at System.Reflection.RuntimeAssembly.InternalLoadAssemblyName(AssemblyName assemblyRef, Evidence assemblySecurity, RuntimeAssembly reqAssembly, StackCrawlMark& stackMark, IntPtr pPrivHostBinder, Boolean throwOnFileNotFound, Boolean forIntrospection, Boolean suppressSecurityChecks)
at System.Reflection.RuntimeAssembly.InternalLoadFrom(String assemblyFile, Evidence securityEvidence, Byte[] hashValue, AssemblyHashAlgorithm hashAlgorithm, Boolean forIntrospection, Boolean suppressSecurityChecks, StackCrawlMark& stackMark)
   at System.Reflection.Assembly.LoadFrom(String assemblyFile, Evidence securityEvidence)
at System.Activator.CreateInstanceFromInternal(String assemblyFile, String typeName, Boolean ignoreCase, BindingFlags bindingAttr, Binder binder, Object[] args, CultureInfo culture, Object[] activationAttributes, Evidence securityInfo)
   at System.AppDomain.CreateInstanceFrom(String assemblyFile, String typeName)

80004005 - E_FAIL

    <errorinfo></errorinfo>

Any ideas on how to solve this?
