Hi dwilliamson
Thanks for sending the file over. We’ve reproduced the issue and will look into it.
Other than the missing space between “tt.Value†and “ISâ€, is the statement formatted as you would like?

Hi a.higgins
It looks like there are 2 issues you're hitting:
1) Autocomplete for execute statements doesn't deal with output parameters properly
2) Inlining an execute statement produces invalid SQL whzen the output parameters aren't specified properly
We've fixed 2) in the latest beta build (7.3.0.437) and will be looking into 1) over the next few days. We've seen your UserVoice request for this here
Thanks again for your feedback.

Hi Robert
Thanks for the feature request. Unfortunately there isn't an existing option to show the default constraints in the tooltip. Thanks for posting this in UserVoice - we use it to help us prioritise what features to work on next.

Hi Tim
At the moment this isn't possible. $Server$ is a special case as it's basic data that we cache when we connect.
We've got an active uservoice request for something similar here. If this sounds like what you'd like to see please add your vote as we use it to help us prioritize what to work on next. You'll also be notified if/when we start working on it.

Hi zippy72
Thanks for your response. We've added an option in SQL Prompt 7.3 (currently in beta here) which will allow you to toggle this behaviour. To stop SQL Prompt 'swallowing' closing characters go to SQL Prompt > Options > Special characters and uncheck "Remove duplicate closing characters as you type".

Hi zippy72
Which version of SQL Prompt are you using? Would you be able to provide an example of where Prompt gets this wrong?

Hi rgelb
There is an automated upgrade path between a single major version but from 5.x to 7.x you will have to transfer your settings manually:
Install SSMS 2016
Create a copy the SQL Prompt 5 folder in "%LocalAppData%Red Gate" and rename it "SQL Prompt 7". If the folder already exists then overwrite it.
Install SQL Prompt 7
If you have any problems with this let us know
Cheers

Hi hafnera
I'm unable to reproduce the issue here. It might be that the new formatting feature isn't turned on. Please could you check that "SQL Prompt > Options > Labs > Experimental features > Use new formatting styles" is on?
Many thanks
