It would appear that I'm not alone in trying to get SQL Prompt installed on SSMS 18. Is there a 'graceful' way to do this? I've gone so far as to uninstall SSMS 17, reboot, reinstall SQL Prompt. It still does not show up in SSMS 18. Any suggestions appreciated. UPDATE: I was able to finally get SQL Prompt installed in SSMS 18 by following the instructions at the bottom of this link, then re-installing SQL Prompt using the latest download of Toolbelt. https://productsupport.red-gate.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003503274-SQL-Prompt-SQL-Search-SQL-Source-Control-or-SQL-Test-doesn-t-appear-in-SSMS?flash_digest=df9a29904a11c6a13cb146d9c4703cd829151326 / comments

Unfortunately we have not migrated to GIT yet, it is a project slated for 2018 Q1. Let me review the doc you referenced and see if I can figure out how to get my folders in sync. Thanks again. / comments

No. When I select 'commit changes', the objects in question do not show up on the list. / comments

Thanks for your quick response. I am on TFS. The relink re-created my working and transient folders, but my new objects do not show as belonging to me. They exist on the shared model DB, of course, but I can't check them in to source control from the new laptop. / comments

Thanks, Harry, for the response. As I stated earlier, we are attempting to implement DLM Automation, and this partitioning issue (among other things) has prevented us from becoming fully automated. However, your workaround suggestion did give me another idea. Syncing the boundaries in source control with current prod just prior to build/deploy just might do it. I'll give it some thought. I would welcome any other suggestions from Red Gate users. I have to believe that someone out there has come up with the 'brilliantly elegant' solution!! / comments

I'm having the same difficulties, and I believe my problem may be related to the default behavior of the command line. How do I Exclude Dependencies using command line?
