Thanks @Rahul, that's helpful to know! In the meantime, the best thing to do is to upvote on the existing user voice item https://redgate.uservoice.com/forums/141379-sql-compare/suggestions/19006741-run-sql-compare-on-linux-mac.
Also, may I ask what drove you to transition from Windows to OS X? / comments

Hi @Rahul!
Unfortunately, we don't have any immediate plans for this but we are really interested in hearing why you would need this. Also, is this just you or do you also have other members in your team that needs this? / comments

I just installed SQL Compare 13. It just seemed like a strange bug especially since the button still works.
Thanks @joejf! I can reproduce the the issue and it seems like button is not properly disabled. I filed this as a bug and should be fixed soon. Thanks for reporting this! / comments

Hi @joejf!
We concluded a round of user research and found out that summary view was only providing value to to non-text objects like Tables. The experience we have given to users on the text objects (such as Functions and Stored Procedures) was quite limited and inconsistent. Because of these reasons, we now only offer summary view for non-text objects like tables.
We also identified a few areas where we can make viewing text object differences better. However, we would like to make those happen within SQL View without taking users away from their code and complicating the experience.
I would love to understand how you benefited from Summary View on Stored Procedures or Functions. / comments

Hi @itzikpaz!
I would love to know more about your use case here. Could you tell me a bit more about it?
Our current state on this is that we are not 100% sure what the user value here. We get that ignoring semi-colons can be beneficial but it seems like a one-off case after you make the first deployment. As I mentioned, we are unsure whether that's the case or we are missing something more important. / comments

We plan to have a way to exclude identical objects from the report just like you can do today. @TheSQLGuru Thanks for the other suggestions, really useful to know. May I ask why order and search will be useful for you use case? Also, even if it's not entirely what you are asking, you could expand all and use the browser search capability to search with the new report format. / comments
