Any idea when the next version of SQL Backup with this feature will be available? If there's one feature I'm dying for right now, it's this one. [image]

Hi Brian;
I'm aware that the feature exists in 5.4, but only if you manually write/modify the script. What I was wondering about is the ability to manage that functionality through the GUI -- it's cumbersome (and error-prone) to edit scripts every time we need to modify the jobs.
Priya's reply seems to indicate that there were plans to add the functionality to the GUI, and I was wondering about the timeline for that.
Thanks! / comments

SQL Backup itself can't do it, but other Red Gate tools integrate with it to provide better than table-level recovery (you can do row-level restores using SQL Data Compare; it can use a SQL Backup backup file as one of its 'compare sources').
If you have a Toolbelt license, then you're all set (seriously one of the best investments I've ever made), otherwise you'll need to look at additional licensing for those products. / comments

To quote myself: I'm more than willing to accept that the BMC software was poorly coded
Just to close this issue, it looks like it was a problem with the software. The timing was simply coincidental that the problems started popping up the same weekend we installed SQL Backup. / comments
