I'm using version 3.5.16.4399... the behavior of the default databases for SQL Search is still frustrating. To reproduce, do a SQL Search on Database A. Close SSMS. Reopen. Browse Object explorer to Database A. Do a SQL Search, and it'll default to All Databases. I'm using SSMS 19.3 Would love a fix... as I need to cancel reindexing all the time (too many databases). / comments

I have the same issue... Data Compare reevaluates all the data if you switch directions. This is a real time loss because I often am cherry picking good data between two servers... and need to switch directions regularly.

I'm living the SQL Server 2008 RC0 world where there is no version of SQL Prompt where the "Double-Click" works. If you think there's going to be an update in the next couple weeks, then don't worry about publishing a regression option on my behalf.
Thanks again for taking the problem so seriously. You'd be amazed how often you double-click! [image]

Yeah, I just realized it was a downgrade patch, which is fine, but it doesn't work for me either.
I did find a workaround. Pull up a query window, disable SQL prompt, open ANOTHER window... that new window will work because SQL prompt is disabled. Then REENABLE SQL Prompt. That window will still behave correctly.

I was able to reproduce the problem and made a "quicktime" movie of it.
It happens when you do a CREATE PROCEDURE on a procedure that already exists.
Will send the movie to your support email address.

I have had the same problem since 3.0... Ctrl-Shift-D will get the table/proc/view to reappear.
I can't reproduce with any consistancy, but it happens daily for me.
