It would make more sense for the UI to not allow backups of snapshot databases.
This issue came about because I'd setup a schedule of "user databases" on a server that incuded snapshot databases, so hopefully they would just be skipped during a "user databases" backup in final release. / comments

I recieve the same errors as kzaltman when attempting to use the install/upgrade from within the GUI to install the server components on my second instance of sql server on my local machine. MyMachine\(local) SQL Server 2005 Dev instance
MyMachine\SQLEXPRESS SQL Server 2005 Express instance
During the initial install of the beta I installed the server components into the (local) / default instance.
Runing the SQBServerSetup.exe tool installs the components into the SQLEXPRESS instance ok. / comments

I'd like to see the Timeline show a summary when a server / group is in the collapsed state. (Sum up the timelines, and show red if any of the databases had a failure in that time)
In a large enterprise with dozens of servers and hundreds of databases is not reasonable to have to keep everything expanded to view timelines. / comments

It seems like a useful tool.
Issues:
1. The list of servers in Select Servers is not sorted.
2. Cannot select a remote server that SQL Backup is not installed in (it would be great to see if a remote server using native backups would benefit from using SQL Backups compression. Think Justification/ROI Expendature Reports.)
3. It would be good to know time differences for compression levels as well as size differences.
4. Adding it to the main SQL Backup GUI would be nice.
5. Exporting a report (for a whole server) would be great (again ROI / see point #2)
6. Expected vs Actual/Historical would be great from within the main SQL Backup GUI.
I'm expecting this will show different compression settings are more appropriate for different databases. / comments
