SQL Doc 2.0 has just been released and includes support for fully printable Word .doc output, which can also be easily converted to pdf preserving all formatting and linkage.

We certainly are thinking about how to do diagramming support - unfortunately it didn't make the cut for V2, but it's on the list for the future.
And thanks for the feedback on the printed output - a lot of effort from the dev team went into getting that right! / comments

Hm...I have IE 8.00.6001.18241, and the CHM viewer seems to work happily on SQL Doc 2.0 output, using the rendering DLLs from this version of IE.
Can you let me know:
1) what doesn't work for you? Is the CHM totally unviewable, or are there specific rendering problems?
2) what version of IE8 you are using? / comments

There is now a patch release of SQL Prompt 3.8 which works with SQL Server 2008 RC0, as announced by Tanya over on this other thread.
You can get this patch by mailing support@red-gate.com.

We will soon be releasing Prompt 3.9 with support for SQL Server 2008, in time for the 2008 RTM. Until then, I'm afraid it is not supported. / comments
