Hi,
Thanks for your inquiry!
1. Yes it is possible to restore a backup taking in an older version to a newer version of SQL Backup: However, it is a better recommendation to have your environment on the same version of SQL Backup. This is also going to depend upon the the version of SQL Server you are backing up and restoring from as well.
2. Impact in validating the same encrypted password between two versions in terms of what aspect? Could you clarify this?
3. With regards to upgrading, I would again stress that you should be on the same version in the environment.
Thanks

Hi all,
FYI, Here is the resolution to this situation:
Putt the text "sp_server_diagnostics" into the next field, titled "Exclude queries that contain SQL commands or objects matching the following regular expressions: "
The end goal was not to have the alert triggered if it's caused by "sp_server_diagnostics" procedure, and the "Exclude queries that contain SQL commands or objects matching the following regular expressions: " field is exactly for that.
Thanks to Endix for his resolution, time and patience!

Hi,
Thanks for your inquiry.
The job will typically not complete and should show up as Failed in the Activity History tab of the SQL Backup GUI.
When you are backing up multiple databases via SQL Backup there should be multiple SQBs generated. For example, if there are 3 databases being backed up, there should be 3 SQBs generated. In the case where one of the DBs has an issue (for example, it is offline for whatever reason), you should still have two SQBs generated for the other DBs that are ok.
Please let me know if this answers your question.
Thanks
