I have SQL Search 1.1.9.57 installed on SQL2008.R2. I did a side by side install of SQL 2012. SQL Search is still available to my 2008R2 installation, but does not come up with my 2012. Do I need to upgrade to Search 2? Is there a way to implement the Search 1 in 2012? Otherwise I have to go to the CIO and make a business case for non-standard software on my PC. (Even if free.) / comments
