just as TomC said - suggestion is slow and even writing inside query is slow (I write letters and it lags few ms until they appear) => absolutely unusable (same in SSMS 2017 and 2016).
Even snippets are no recognized, when you write text too fast (like ssf or so).
Please, do sth about it. / comments

as I could see in code (caught in dm_exec_requests) the frequency is 200ms (run in 5 minutes cycles).
Is it possible to configure this frequency or the length of cycle?
It is not only quite often from my point of view but it also influences the output (like long running queries or even wait stats itself) of other monitoring tools we use (scom or sql sentry which is used for heavily loaded databases). / comments
