Hi @Pete6627, Thanks for reaching out to us on this. You're certainly not being stupid. Enabling the 'Add object existence checks' options (Edit Project ->Options tab ->Behavior section) will enable you to achieve what you're describing. For clarity; when this option is enabled, SQL Compare will check for the existence of objects affected by the deployment. If the object is already in the target it does not create the object. If the object does not exist, the query returns null and creates the object. This is particularly useful if you wish to create a deploy script and run it against multiple targets. I hope this helps! / comments

Hi @torsten.strauss Our sincerest apology for the delay in responding to you regarding this!
Our development team have now taken a look at this and they have fed back that they do not believe this is a bug. If
we run the original script you provided to us without formatting with SQL Prompt, the result in SSMS is a table with column THROW and a value of
1. If we then run the same script with SQL Prompt formatting, we get the same result in SSMS. If we run the formatted script (adding the semicolon / new line before THROW), the result in SSMS is "Msg 50000, Level 16, State 1, Line 2
test", which is correct for the formatted script. I hope this helps, however please don't hesitate in reaching out to us again if you have any further questions regarding this.

Hi @mfc2mfc2 Thanks for reaching out to us regarding this. SQL Compare can spend a lot more time reviewing indexes than on the rest of the comparison process, the time taken can be impacted by the number of dependencies upon them. I think it would be worth updating SQL Compare to the latest version (14.4.8) to see if that has a positive impact on the time taken to review/compare the indexes. You can download this version here: https://download.red-gate.com/checkforupdates/SQLCompare/SQLCompare_14.4.8.17007.exe I hope this helps, however please don't hesitate in reaching out to us again if you require any further assistance on this. / comments

I hope this help, however please do reach out to us again if you would like to discuss this further. Kind regards, Dan Jary | Redgate Software Have you visited our Help Center? / comments

Hi @jsreynolds1, Thanks for reaching out to us regarding this. I've taken a look through the SQL Prompt documentation (see below) and unfortunately it does not appear to be possible to assign a hotkey to this action, you must select this manually. Hi @Raynald, Unfortunately this functionality had not yet been added, I have however re-highlighted this to our development team for their visibility. There has also been a feature request raised for this - https://redgate.uservoice.com/forums/94413-sql-prompt/suggestions/42693359-find-invalid-objects-in-multiple-databases. It would be good if you comment and/or vote for as this will further help to raise awareness of it. / comments

Hi anna.p Thanks for reaching out to us regarding this, I'm sorry you are seeing this issue with SQL Compare! Just as an initial question, what version of SQL Compare are you seeing this in? I don't think this will be playing any part in the behavior you're seeing here, but do you have 'Ignore Bindings' checked or unchecking within your project options? / comments
