Hi @....strauss
Many thanks for the further details you have provided on this, and for the snippet file! I have used your snippet file to attempt a reproduction of the issue you are seeing, but to be honest I am not see the same problem.
The steps I have taken are as follows: - Open a new SSMS query window - Type #J and select the #JobCategory snippet (The contents of the snippet is inputted) - Enter down a couple of lines after the snippet contents - Type GO and press enter
For me, the contents of the snippet is not then inputted. Please can you confirm if the steps I have outlined above are exactly the same steps you are also taking? Also, please can you confirm which versions of SSMS and SQL Prompt you are currently using?

Hi @....strauss
I'm sorry to hear you are seeing this issue in SQL Prompt! Thanks for reaching out to us on this.
So far I've not been able to reproduce the issue you are seeing, would it be possible for you to provide the #JobCategory snippet file?

Hi @bianca
No need to apologize! I'm glad SQL Prompt is now working for you!
Hi there @bianca Thank you very much for providing that log information. Looking at it, I do wonder if this is being caused by an issue with the registry keys that manage the style and snippets folders...
I think it might be worth attempting a full reinstall of SQL Prompt before we look at other ways to resolve this issue. If you don't mind trying this, please can you follow these steps: - Take a backup of your Snippet and Style files - Use Revo Uninstaller (free) to remove SQL Prompt and all of it's residual files. Revo Uninstaller can be downloaded here: https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo-uninstaller-free-download/
- Download and install the latest version of SQL Prompt (https://download.red-gate.com/checkforupdates/SQLPrompt/SQLPrompt_10.6.12.20269.exe)
I do hope this helps. Please let me know if this does or does not resolve this issue you are seeing.

Hi @sfrigard
Many thanks for providing your style file and SQL script. I have manipulated the style you sent over, but unfortunately it does not currently appear to be possible to achieve the formatting your are after.
Given this, would you be happy to request that this formatting be made possible via our User Voice page (https://redgate.uservoice.com/forums/94413-sql-prompt)? This will mean it is visible to our development team for their consideration.

Hi @TimF
Many thanks for confirming that. Firstly, apologies for appearing to ignore your initial question around whether there is a dedicated conversion tool! Unfortunately there is currently no tool available for this.
I think it may be worth taking a back of all your snippet and styles files before then completely remove SQL Prompt (we advise using Revo installer free to ensure all residual files are removed - https://www.revouninstaller.com/products/revo-uninstaller-free/) and then reinstalling it. The latest version (v.10.6.10) of SQL Prompt can be downloaded here: https://download.red-gate.com/checkforupdates/SQLPrompt/SQLPrompt_10.6.10.19533.exe).
My hope is that your remaining snippet files will when be converted to the new JSON file format. If this does not convert the remaining files we advise reading through the following help document which outlines another possible solution to this issue: https://documentation.red-gate.com/sp/sql-code-formatting-and-styles/updating-style-files-from-before-version-10-5
Please let me know if either of these suggestions do or do not resolve this issue for you.
