We're currently on 9.0.10.21294 but will be upgrading soon to the newest version to fix another issue. He're a screenshot of the alert email. not sure if you needed the info from inside of sql monitor itself and if so which tab. If this isn't the correct info let me know and perhaps we can this to a support ticket. [image] Thanks for taking a look. -Luke. / comments

Russell, thanks for the information. I believe we're goign tot try an upgrade to 9.0.5 first and make certian it's not fixed already before we open a support case. Also, the Maintenance window information is very helpful... We'll work on modifying that so that we can actually make use of maintenance windows again. If we modify this manually in the database will this be reset by future upgrades? I vaguely remember this being talked about in the SQL monitor forum that this ability to choose what is silenced in a maintenance window be made into a feature. It looks like it's already there and now just needs GUI? I know this has been asked about on the UserVoice forum before. Any chance that will get completed in the near future since it just need a few checkboxes to turn them on and off? Or perhaps just officially added to the Product documentation? Thanks, -Luke. / comments

Is there a user voice link for this filtering? I'd like to up vote it to hopefully get it a bit more priority in the backlog. another great filtering idea would be to filter on Host. Thanks, -Luke. / comments

We are currently on 8.0.2.13400. Yes, auto-growth is enabled for the filestream file/filegroup. The file usage metric on the analysis graph bounces up and down between 5.4 and 6 GB, yet the tables involved are pretty small... Per the SSMS Disk Usage report, currently the In-Memory OLTP files have 5.84GB Reserved and only 1.5 MB of Space used. We generally only update once or twice a year due to time constraints or for a particular feature. I'll see if I can get it on the list for sometime in the next few weeks... / comments

Richard, thanks for the quick response. I assumed this wasn't built into SQL monitor yet, but wanted to make certain as I couldn't easily figure out how setup an alert to handle it. We'll likely code some sort of custom alert for this with an instance local config table and xp_FixedDrives. It's not optimal because of the reliance on undocumented system procedures but...
It seemed like SQL monitor should be able to perform this check since it was already interrogating the servers and storing the disk information. A check against what disks it saw in the last check seems like it would be fairly quick/easy to implement.
BTW, your competitors already have this alert.
The suggestion is https://sqlmonitor.uservoice.com/forums/91743-suggestions/suggestions/33580537-monitor-for-unavailable-disks for anyone who wants to upvote it.

Adam, thanks for responding. This is something that's been asked for a number of times. Even if it's not perfect something would be better than nothing. You're already grabbing the deadlocked query text and/or Object IDs so I would think it would be a matter of parsing that text for the database context and or regex strings to eliminate the alert email.
I understand that every time something like this is done there is a cost to perform that work and balancing the reward with the Processing cost is key to the decision making process as well as balancing other user requests and product enhancements.
I look forward to seeing this in the product in the near future.

This is something that has been requested since v5. Now that Extended events are being used, I would assume this may be a bit easier to configure?
there are already 2 user voice threads on it. https://sqlmonitor.uservoice.com/forums/91743-suggestions/suggestions/18464269-deadlock
And https://sqlmonitor.uservoice.com/forums/91743-suggestions/suggestions/16598887-block-specific-deadlocks-by-lock-details
I really don't like having to turn off deadlock events for my entire instance due to 1 poorly behaving application/database or process.
Has there been any movement on this?
Thanks,
