I have also tried adding that line of xml, and I'm getting the same error. I am on version 3.4.8.18. I see from the forum that several users were getting this error when they upgraded to 3.1.x, and were able to get commit again when they downgraded to 3.0.x. Do I need to downgrade 4 versions to get this to work again? / comments

In my case, it turned out the solution was to restart the Vault server, then restart my own SSMS. / comments
