Hi MCarugati, Thank you for your post. With your use case, because you would still be the one using the tool rather than the client you could still use your SQL Compare license. If they have not internet access though then you'd need to manually activate the license and this can only be done if there is an open space on the license so you may need to temporarily remove an allocation to do this. Then after the work has been complete you'd need to deactivate the license and uninstall the tool from the machine. / comments

Hi Paul, Yes this can be done via the command line. To set the ignore permissions option you'd use the following switch: /Options:IgnorePermissions / comments

Hi Paul, You may be able to still include Users if you don't uncheck the users from the Filters list. The use of Filters will stop results showing in the upper results pane (after running the comparison) SQL Compare will still compare them, just not show the results. / comments

Hi @pauljoyce thank you for your post. I believe the only way to achieve this would be to exclude Users with the use of Filters in SQL Compare: [image] [image] [image] [image] [image] Then you would also need to uncheck the "ignore permissions" Option: [image] [image] / comments

Hi Bruce Thank you for your post. I'm afraid that SQL Dependency Tracker only looks for dependencies at the database level, so dependencies in SQL Server Agent Jobs, SSIS, and SSAS Packages will not appear. / comments

If SQL Monitor is set to use WMI over DCOM (the default currently) then it may be using a port in that range. WMI over DCOM uses port 135 (RPC), but in addition to this, through its use of DCOM which it's built upon, it uses a random port between 1065 and 65535 as well to continue the conversation. This can be restricted to a static port or smaller port range, see https://documentation.red-gate.com/sm/adding-and-managing-monitored-servers/adding-servers-for-monitoring/adding-sql-server/adding-sql-server-on-windows/windows-monitoring-wmi-connections/wmi-over-dcom / comments

Hi There, No by default SQL Monitor does not make use of that port range. The SQL Monitor Base Monitor uses 135 for the RPC and 1433 for connecting to the SQL Server instances when using WMI over DCOM. If using WMI over WinRM then it will use Either port 5985 (HTTP) or port 5986 (HTTPS) and 1433 for the SQL Server connection. The port may vary if you've set up a static WMI endpoint. / comments

Hi @HampdenTech81, thank you for your post. In SSMS if you try going to the SQL Prompt Sub menu and then 'Active Style' you should see 2 sections, custom styles and the Redgate Styles. Under Redgate Styles you should see the "Default" option: [image] [image] [image] / comments
