Hello,
Sorry for the issue you are having with SQL Source Control. The one catch is if there is a permission that your DBA's have setup in addition to the normal for the default trace than the permissions we list will not be enough. Those are enough for a standard install and setup, that's how I have my test VM setup and it works correctly. It could be some restriction in your environment is requiring the sysadmin rights. / comments

Hello,
Thanks for your question on migrating SQL Source Control to a new TFS server. The file "LinkedDatabases.xml" locate at "%localappdata%Red GateSQL Source Control 3" contains the url for every linked DB on the users login. You could try manually updating this instead of relinking but there could be issues depending on specifics to your environment. I would test it out with a couple of test DB's and see what happens. We do recommend relinking so everything gets setup on the new server the standard method. / comments

Hello,
Thanks for your question about SQL Prompt and SQL Source Control. To get the tools to show up in the new install of SSMS you will have to reinstall both tools. We update the add-ins and some other parts of SSMS in the install so they won't automatically show up in a new SSMS install.
Right now only SQL Prompt has finished compatibility preparation and testing for SSMS 2016 so you may see some bugs and incompatibilities with other tools. / comments

Hello,
Thanks for the question on the SQL Comparison SDK. For this you would have to look at the differences of the table comparison results and determine for the differences if the row existed only in source (a new row) or in both source and target (an update to an old row). Then only synch the rows which are new which would be differences that only exist in source. I don't believe we have a method that does this automatically but you could build the logic into your foreach loop. / comments

Hello Samrana,
Normally for that error it means the SSMS Integration Pack 1 and the SSMS Integration Framework 1 did not install correctly. Can you uninstall both of those and SQL Source Control with SSMS closed and then reinstall from this location "ftp://support.red-gate.com/patches/sqlsourcecontrol/06Aug2015/". / comments

Hello,
For the GUI logs we do not have a way to redirect them, in the command line interface you can use switches to log the output and specify that location. Let me know if you have any other questions, thanks.

Hello,
Sorry for the issue you are having with SQL Prompt and SQL Search. This doesn't look to be a bug with those products but an issue the database file structure. It sounds like the DB is starting to corrupt on disk and our programs are crashing trying to read information from it and getting bad information back. I would recommend steps like in the below link to backup this DB get it cleaned up and restore it to a good working DB. http://www.dosomethinghere.com/2013/02/ ... malformed/
Let me know if you have any other questions, thanks. / comments

The below documentation talks about some reasons why this might happen. http://documentation.red-gate.com/displ ... by+Unknown
Looks like you fixed this by changing the VIEW STATE permissions. On you follow up question there is no way to skip the error if this DB cannot be found. Let me know if you have any other questions, thanks. / comments
