Thanks Priya. Can confirm I can see the page now.
It would appear (at least for me) that the link to the release notes for this version is not working.
I get the error :
Confluence
You cannot access Confluence at present. Look at the table below to identify the reasons.

I am quite interested in seeing what is addressed specifically in this release as I am looking to upgrade to it if appropriate.

I have exactly the same situation and raised a ticket with Red Gate support who have spent a fair amount if time investigating : http://www.red-gate.com/MessageBoard/vi ... clock+skew
However still no resolution.
I am monitoring 14 instances and 10 of them (only the ones that are member of an SQL cluster), continue to get these alerts multiple times a day.
One of the suggestions from Red Gate support was that the query of the instance for clock time takes too long to return a result and so the clock skew is actually a false positive.
I am loathe to turn this alert off as then if there was a genuine reason for actual clock skew, I would probably only know when I started to see other issues resulting from a lack of clock synchronization between my various servers. / comments

Hmm... Typical. I say that it is resolved and then dig a little deeper only to find that I still have the issue on one of the host machines.
The problem here is that the "Manage Monitored Servers" page shows that the status for this host is :
Monitoring Connected
However looking at the "Overviews" screen for this host, the host shows no alerts and the sparkline graphs for Processor and Memory are not updating. [image]
Also on the overview page for this host, none of the metrics are showing any values
CPU
Memory
Disks
Network
System processes (top 10) [image]
I have tried the following to resolve this :
* Removed the cluster from monitoring and re-added
* Changed the account being used for the Base Monitor / comments

This issue resolved itself. I was able to remove the instances I was having an issue with and re-add them and now monitoring is working correctly.
There is a possibility that the issue was still related to either NIC configuration or SNMP problems I was experiencing on both of these servers. Cant be more specific than that unfortunately. / comments

Thanks Brian. Have replied back with some of my findings (one of the issues is resolved now). Look forward to hearing back from you.

Just an addition to this. I now seem to have a similar issue with another of my servers in another of our 5 nodes clusters (a different one from the one above).
The version of SQL Monitor is the same and the issue this time is that the monitoring status is apparently OK (for both the HOST and the instance) however there are no new alerts being generated (for either) nor are any of the performance metrics being gathered or displayed.
This is seeming a little more like it might actually be a product fault at this point. Def interested in any feedback.

I am having exactly the same issue. However I dont want to set that option to remove the Old Backup History (I need to keep the history for compliance reasons). I can wait over 30 minutes for the activity history for a given server/database to be displayed.
I have a second issue (that I imagine is related). When I want to restore a backup and I use the "Select from backup history" option, it will take several hours (!!) to display the history for a given database.
My backup schedule for all of my databases (aside from the system DBs which only have daily FULLs) is :
Daily FULL
Daily DIFF (at a 12 hour interval different from the FULL)
30 minute LOG
This problem is making the UI for restoration based on backup history effectivelyt unusable for me. And not being able to see the backup history from the console (unless I wait the 30 mins +) is also annoying. / comments

Can I ask the RedGate people who might be watching this thread if this one has gone anywhere.
Ie. is there any planned working on a reporting module for the rich data that is being collected by the Base Monitor that is not driven by having to use the UI ?
I have reporting requirements to look at various performance and capacity metrics on the SQL hosts/instances that I look after and while I can cobble something together using various bespoke tools or even get hold of another 3rd party reporting tool that might achieve my needs, I would prefer to be able to use some of the data that SQL Monitor gathers to achieve my needs. / comments
