Hi JonVC, That would suggest the install hasn't done everything and should have reported an error here. If you open services.msc you should see a SQL Monitor Base Monitor Service. If you right click on this and hit properties you will see the path to executable Which will be something like "C:\Program Files\Red Gate\SQL Monitor\Web\RedGate.SqlMonitor.UI.Server.Service.exe" If you navigate to the folder C:\Program Files\Red Gate\SQL Monitor\Web and right click on the named .exe what version is shown? I think the best next steps would actually be to uninstall SQL Monitor and then Install version 9 fresh. If you point the v9 at the existing database you wont lose any data doing this. / comments

Hi JonVC Could you either attach screenshots here of the installer and the website or send these over to support@red-gate.com please. It would help to see which stage of the website and installer is showing this. If the installer is failing when it gets to the database step I would advise uninstalling the website and base monitor and re-installing but I can confirm this after seeing the relevant messages. / comments

Hi DavidKeaveny, That is correct if you add the same SQL to your deployment scripts then SQL Monitor will pick this up and add it to the timeline as a SQL Compare change. Please do let me know if you have any further questions on this. / comments

Hi David, There is only one choice of logo. Whether you can reverse engineer this I'm not sure but that isn't something we would be able to assist with. / comments

Hi James, The backup file is converted into multiple .baks for each thread used to run the backup. So if the backup runs with 16 threads it will create 16 .bak files for example. You can still restore these using one backup command following the below syntax RESTORE DATABASE ReportServerSplitCopy FROM DISK = 'D:\DBBackups\ReportServer\ReportServer_Split1.bak' ,DISK = 'D:\DBBackups\ReportServer\ReportServer_Split2.bak' ,DISK = 'D:\DBBackups\ReportServer\ReportServer_Split3.bak' Please do let me know if you have any further questions. / comments

Hi ybhole, Thanks for posting on the Redgate forums. The include dependencies is a default option when using SCA. To turn this off you need to add -IncludeDependencies To the SQL compare options in Octupus. Please do let me know if you need anything further. / comments

I have spoken to the team about this and currently, there isn't a way for this to be achieved inside SQL Prompt. We have created a feature request for this but I can't guarantee that this will gather enough momentum to make it into the product in the future. / comments

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Feedback like this is always useful for the support team to distribute around the business. You raise a couple issues so I will deal with them one at a time. Shouldn't the real answer be "This is a free tool, and we're not going to pay developers to fix a product that we're not directly making money off of?" Search is a free tool but we do have a team who work on it. Whilst they aren't dedicated to Search they do features and bug fixes. You can say it's working as designed, but that's putting lipstick on pig, so to speak. If you have a search feature and you can't use it to search for a literal string, then that's a bug. Ridiculous.
It's working as designed but I think your point that the design is wrong is a fair one. The previous change was done so that we could meet the needs of another feature request. As you mention there is escape functionality in Search and this does use the square bracket. However, this would break in this case so the real fix to both issues is to get this working. Based on your feedback this has been added to the big board but that doesn't guarantee that a fix will be implemented. I will endeavour to keep you updated with the progress of this task. / comments
