So:
- Uninstalled the version of 3.1
- Downloaded the version 3.0 linked to above...
- Install went smooth, all my savings were saved
- Can now pull up that commit tab and check items in / comments

Any word on this Patch?
I cannot get my Source Control 3 install to pull up stuff in the "Commit" tab since last update.. currently on 3.1.0.4829
I get either
"Failed to poll database after 3 attempts"
or
"Timeout Expired"
when i just try to get the list of objects needing to be checked in
We are using Vault as our source control depository and it works great with Visual Studio for code, the Vault client works great too, so I know that it is in full working order / comments

1. The screen shot you have sent is at database level. Do you see any queries at the instance level under "Top 10 expensive queries".
No, if I click the instance i get Host Machine, Databases, General, Memory, Server Properties, Buffer Cache, Latches and Locks, Host Machine, User SQL Processes (top 10 by CPU usage), and finally SQL Server Error Log

2. There are certain criteria which queries have to satisfy in order for them to appear for this feature. This is documented in the help against "Top 10 expensive queries". Could you also verify if there are any queries which satisfy this criteria?
I do not know where this "documented help" is.... if you mean the blue ? icon in this pic from the simple-talk article: http://www.simple-talk.com/iwritefor/ar ... _large.png , then keep in mind I don't even see that section at all (hence, no blue icon to click) / comments

was flipping through some of the docs and it says it doesn't work for SQL2000 server
the server we are monitoring is a SQL2008 R2 install with the Db's running currently in SQL2000 compat mode.... does Monitor treat that as 2000 across the board? / comments

I ran across that, but as you can see in below screen shot, I do not have a file named
"RedGate.Response.Engine.Alerting.Base.Service.exe.settings.config"
i am on the correct server and i have "Show all files" turned on (so it's not hidden)
searching for that file name brought back zero results too
there is a "RedGate.Response.Engine.Alerting.Base.Service.exe.config" file in the install path I specified during setup, but no connection string info in there
other ideas? [image] / comments
