I ended up having to exclude the server from these two new alerts. I turned on some additional logging at the request of support and all that showed was that there was timeout occurring. It was the only server that was having this issue out of 15 servers, but the number of alerts ended upo being noise. / comments

New Data Collection Monitoring Errors
I installed release 2.2 this morning. Since I installed the update, I've received 67 host machine monitoring or SQL Server monitoring error alerts over a 6 hour period for one of the servers. Whe...
I don't know why the alert would still be active. The % Processor Time rarely, if ever, exceeds the 90% threshold and this alert wasn;t to tell me it escalated to High. The email still showed it as Medium and I don;t have Low enabled. I sent an email with screen shots to priya.sinha@red-gate.com. / comments

Phantom Alert Escalation
I've noticed that there seem to be a few old alerts for which I continue to receive emails long after they've been cleared. As you can see, this alert is from December and I just received an escal...
No, I did not get an alert when I killed the process/job. I really thought that this was a duration check independent of completion. SQL Sentry, which I replaced with SQL Response over a year ago has a duration check that is independent of the job completion. I mentioned that during the feature interview that I had for SQL Monitor quite some time ago. A duration check for a job that is running would be very useful to have. / comments

This server has been monitored by SQL Monitor since November and the job, which coincidently happens to be a t-log backup using SQL Backup, runs every 15 minutes, usually in less than 10 seconds. / comments

Did Not Receive Job Duration Alert
I discovered this morning that there was job on one of my monitored servers that had been running for 4 days. I did not receive an alert regarding this. I have received job duration alerts from o...
Logging In To SQL Monitor Website
Is there only one login for accessing the website? It doesn't appear that there is any place to add SQL Monitor accounts, but I thought that I'd ask.
I had the same issue several weeks ago and, although I received no explanation from support as to the why, restarting the SQL Monitor service resolved it and it hasn't occurred since. / comments

Clock Skew Alert Question
Is it possible that network latency could contribute to clock skew alerts? We've had some issues with time management on our servers that we feel has been resolved, but we still see occasional clo...
