Thanks for the feedback. We're really interested in this bug, as we spent a long time trying to get the highlighting and scrolling right, and it sounds like we haven't quite solved it after all.
It would be really useful if you could give examples of specific searches that aren't being highlighted, along with the relevant parts of the schema you're searching against. If you'd prefer not to send them in a public forum, feel free to DM me, and I'll pass your examples to the team.

Yes - you can just use http://www.red-gate.com/products/sql-development/sql-compare/ and choose the 'Download free trial' link, then the 'Already a customer' download link.
If you already have a valid license, the trial will license itself automatically when you install it.

Just to update this, after working with Varun, we've confirmed that ANTS Performance Profiler doesn't support 64-bit versions of Cassini correctly. If this affects you, please use IIS Express (or full IIS) as a workaround. / comments

The developers have looked at this, and we have confirmed this issue.
However, it looks like Re-motion have fixed the bug at their end (https://www.re-motion.org/jira/browse/RM-3832), so upgrading re-linq may help you.

I've escalated this to Symantec support and they have replied saying that they can't reproduce the false-positive using the latest virus definition files.
Please can you check whether your user still receives this error with the latest definitions? If so, Symantec tell me that they'll need:
- Details of the message or a screen shot of the message received
- Exact step by step instructions on how to recreate issue
- Detection log(s) from the product
