I just tried the code in VS 2008 and got a similar error. I think there is a COM class that needs to be registered with regsrv32. Without that, you're scanning the registry and there are quite a few entries for a standard developer's rig. I have VS 2005 installed from SQL Server 2005. I ran it, disabled the option, but still had the issue in VS 2008. I fixed the issue by setting all "justmycode" reg keys to 0, the following were still still set to 1.
