Thanks, Petey. I was just wanting to verify that the data in the backup file was still encrypted and not decrypted prior to being dumped to disk. I wasn't looking for a way to skip encryption when TDE is in use, but that seems like that would be pretty easy to script around. Thanks again! / comments
