We fixed quite a few quirks and anomalies for the beta, but I'm sure we've introduced some more.
We're going to spend next week doing some more internal testing and will probably release another beta shortly after that. / comments

You're right about all those points.
I'm hoping that even at $95 our users will be able to recoup their inital outlay very quickly. That's about an hour of billable time for a developer / DBA, so payback should be quick.
We're also planning on doing quite a lot with SQL Prompt, and taking it to a wider audience. For $95 a go we can justify doing this. For $25 it becomes difficult.
I reiterate though; all current users will be upgraded for free.
I'd be interested to know what other forum posters think. / comments

We're aiming to get the product out in 1-2 weeks. The date depends on what the beta program throws up, and how our internal testing goes though. / comments

PDinCA,
It's a free upgrade, we've fixed some bugs, and the two won't co-exist. It didn't seem like a terribly controversial thing to do. But then, that's what the beta is for - to find out these problems.
We'll put a warning in for the final release. Thanks for the feedback! / comments
