Ben,
It affects all objects. I have SSMS 2008 installed and SQL Prompt work as expected there.
The tab key did work in VS2008 prior to upgrading to the GDR.
I have several of the Red Gate products installed. They were installed prior to the upgrade and did not affect SQL Prompt.
I do not remember If I have any other third party products installed. If I do, they were installed a while ago and did not affect SQL Prompt.
I will try a re-install, and let you know how that works. / comments

That was it. Thank you. For anyone else viewing this, I couldn't find a way to do that in SSMS. Here's the TSQL command.
GRANT VIEW SERVER STATE TO YourLogin
To set this permission in SSMS, right click the server in Object Explorer, then click Properties.
On the Server Properties window, click Permissions in the left nav.
The top pane has the list of Logins, scroll thru to find your login.
The bottom pane has the list of permissions. View Server State is the last in the list. / comments

Tanya,
Now that we are closer to May, can you give us a better time frame for v3.8?
Thanks for a great product.

I have found that SQL Prompt will work sometimes from within single quotes, but it is not always as reliable.
I do a lot of work with OPENQUERY and what is in the quotes is an sql statement.
To get it to prompt, I have to manually activate with Ctrl+Space.
The problem I have is the snippets do not show. I have to click on the snippet icon to see them (not that big a deal).
I would like to see an option to control when to ignore single quotes. That way, those that want the prompting can use it.
Thanks

David,
Thanks for the suggestion. Editing the file worked great.
I was able to do a find and replace.
When I restarted SSMS, the links were correct.
Suggestion for a future release.
Next to the "Unlink database..." add an Edit Link. / comments
