That's interesting, thanks for the feedback!
I suspect what might have happened could have something to do with the index cache (that is kept in that folder) which might have been caused by using multiple versions of SSMS with SQL Search installed. But that's only a guess...
If you get the same behaviour again please let us know. There were a few minor issues around the index cache that are being addressed in the new version. / comments

There are some issues around indexing and we have addressed many of them in the upcoming version. I hope to have more details in the next week or two. / comments

Thanks for trying out SQL Search.
So am I correct in saying you'd like to be able to right click an object in object explorer and search for it by name? So within the right click menu you would see something like "SQL Search this name".
Would you also want to be able to see this in other places, so for example in a query editor to select a portion of text and SQL Search it? If so both of these sound like good ideas, we can definitely add them to our request list.
Do people have other areas they might like to see SQL Seach integrated into in SSMS? / comments

Thanks for the feedback, I just want to clarify what you're seeing just so I understand a bit more about the problem
So if the table is called Bob and you are referencing Bob a few times in your stored procs a search for bob in SQL Search should show:
The table Bob matching on name (this is shown on one of the columns)
Text matches of Bob in your stored procs.
And if I understand correctly the problem is your not seeing anything when you search for bob (substitute your table name in here [image] ) / comments

Thanks for helping test SQL Search!
This is indeed an issue, I've added it to our issue tracker. What would you expect the behaviour to be? Would it to keep the original result highlighted and move around in the results or would it to be to always highlight the top and result and refresh the text?
Just interested because I think both would be useful. / comments

Thanks for reporting this.
I've confirmed this with a few reporting services this morning and I've added it to our issue backlog. We'll hopefully be able to address this in a future release.

Thanks for taking the time to let us know!
We are aware of this issue and it's in our bug database and will hopefully be addressed in a future version. It's certainly more obvious when you click between objects in the search view that have long and short preview texts.
