Hi,
Sorry but sending the email when alerts are high is currently not supported. I have raised this enhancement request as SRP-1993.
Regarding email, what details are you looking for? We have made some minor changes to the email for 2.1 release i.e. (local) will be replaced by actual hostname, time will be displayed in base monitor local time etc.
Thanks,

Hi Johan,
Yes, you can filter the alert which are raised during a particular time period. Navigate to Alert Inbox and select 'Advanced filter' option and then use the options under 'Time'.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for clarifying.
Not sure if it serves the purpose or not but 'Long running query' alert supports filtering on query text. Though it doesn't support excluding by user name or process name at this stage. But if there is a particular sql query which you want to exclude then you should be able to use this feature.
We are also adding support for exclusion by process name in 2.1 release.
Also, we are currently working on 'maintenance window' which will be most probably be part of 2.1 release. This will allow you to stop alerting based on a schedule.
Thanks,

Hi John,
This error is coming because the WMI queries are failing. The credentials which you are using to connect to the machine hosting this SQL Server instance, needs to an administrator on the machine.
Please check this help link regarding the permission you need to connect to the monitored server. http://www.red-gate.com/supportcenter/C ... %20Monitor
Also, in case you see any other connection error, you can try this simple tests to see if all the data collection is working as expected: http://www.red-gate.com/supportcenter/C ... 269935.htm

Hi,
Regarding the alert, yes it is possible to exclude certain databases for specific alerts. You can use Configuration > Alert Settings page.
Navigate to the machine name on left hand navigation, expand it
Select you instance name, expand it
Select the database which you want to exclude
Then select the alert on the right hand pane and open it.
Use the "Customize setting" option and then disable it.
You can read more here http://www.red-gate.com/supportcenter/C ... 269920.htm
Regarding object name in alert inbox, unfortunately there is no way to cutomize it currently. I have logged this as SRP-2437. We will try our best to improve this.

Hi,
When you start adding SQL Server then you can click on the 'Edit properties' link. There is a port number option there. If you are already added the SQL Server then you can select the SQL Server and then use 'Edit credentials' option to change this.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
Apologies for the issue.
Is the alert is in active or ended state?
The way this alert works is that, the alert gets raised when the job duration is above x% (as per your configuartion). It then remains active, when the next job run happens then it does all the calculation again and then the details updated and eventually the alert gets marked as ended when the deviation is below x%.
So if the alert is ended then deviation is not the deviation which raised the alert. I understand that this can be confusing. We are fixing this as priority in 2.1. We will try to retain the deviation which raised the alert rather than updating it.
Is this what you are seeing?
Thanks,

Hi,
Thanks for your post.
Are you on default configuration for 'Disk Space'?
If yes, then by default it would trigger for the following:
High : Less than 400 MB
Medium : Less than 800 MB
Low: Less than 1 GB
So since the top volume has less than 1 GB as the total size is only 10 MB, hence this alert is triggered.
Though there looks like another bug where it is saying it_apps used: 29.18GB (332,054.86%). We are investigating this part. But our guess is that we might be comparing the path e.g. c:\mountpoint\ and assuming that it is on c:\. Will update you on this.
