Unfortunately SQL Prompt v4 does not yet support CLR types (including xml) and so it fails to prompt suggestions.
I have logged this as a feature request in our internal tracking system whose id is SP-2866.

I have logged it as a bug in our internal tracking system whose tracking id is SP-2909.
Workaround can be to select following way:

SELECT
* <end selection> FROM dbo.backupfile
WHERE
backup_set_id > 10<start selection>
i.e. by living a pace after the * as 'TAB' invokes the functionality Wild card expansion.

It should work for temporary tables as well.
Can you check whther the following options are checked at your end?
1. SQL Prompt 4 --> Options --> Suggestions --> Types of Suggestion --> List all database columns after a SELECT statement.
2. SQL Prompt 4 --> Options --> Suggestions --> Types of Suggestion --> List System objects.
If this options are selected and you are still encountering the issue can you kindly email us the temporary table creation script and steps to replicate ths issue? / comments

This is a known issue and our development team is working on this.
I have added your comments to this issue whose unique identification is SP-2773.
I wanted to suggest a workaround for this issue until the bug gets fixed.
You can select the query except the 'Create View' or 'Alter View' statement and SQL prompt will format is as per your expectation.

SQL Prompt reinitialises the shortcut, which will hopefully be added to a future version.
