I was having the same issue after updating SSMS 22.2.1 to 22.3.0, couldn't connect to SQL servers without crashing out of SSMS. I followed the instructions in Bjorn's post here - https://productsupport.red-gate.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/33887404886301/comments/33895622349853 and it resolved the issue. Nice job Bjorn and thank you! Hopefully Redgate or Microsoft will address this issue soon. / comments
